Just a bummer there weren't bedside plugs. had to charge my phone across the room. a chill experience!

my recent stay was a pleasant surprise. the room was comfortable with nice tea and coffee making facilities. the breakfast spread was fantastic, with a variety of cereals, fresh croissants, and fruit, it exceeded my previous experience in sparkford.

the inn has a lovely historic feel, which I really appreciated. the basic double room was clean and spacious, and I enjoyed the big mix grill at the pub. it's nice when you drive around the corner and discover a charming pub waiting for you. breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the locals were pleasant and made for lovely conversations.

Key issues included a non-functioning TV which did not support streaming services as advertised, along with bathroom concerns where the plumbing produced excessive noise and the shower struggled with pressure. Plus, the lack of in-room refreshments like tea bags or even a fridge felt like a major miss, leaving a sense of neglect regarding guest comfort. The room itself had poorly maintained features, such as a missing towel rail and a loose glass shelf. Without breakfast options on-site during my stay, the only quick choice was a fast-food joint down the road, which might work for some but certainly didn’t elevate the experience.
